Embracing Our Cause

ArizonaCommunity.com began as a simple solution to locate community resources on the internet. Since then, our mission has expanded to incorporate providing non-profit organizations with premium internet presences. We know that in order to provide a comprehensive search engine, sites have to be available. Our efforts make that possible.

In the last quarteer of the 2000, a report from Washington D.C. was made available to the public. This report showed that resources (especially resources for low-income families and housing issues) are few in number. We hope to change all that.

Within the year 2001, ArizonaCommunity.com will be expanding to include the greater part of Arizona. Our mission is to have all non-profit agencies within Arizona listed in our database by the year 2002. Furthermore, by the year 2004, we hope to have provided all non-profit agencies within Southeastern Arizona with high-quality internet presences. Obviously, this takes time and a dedicated volunteer force. In order to meet the needs of our community, our methods of accomplishing our goals are evolving.

One way we can meet the needs of the public, is to provide "simple site designs" for the non-profit community. With these "templates", we can ensure fast turnaround for agencies needing our services. Within the first quarter of 2001, we will be setting up a system enabling agencies to submit information to us and within a couple days provide a creative presence focused on the dissemination of information.

If you are involved in a non-profit organization or know of an agency without an internet presence, we would love to talk to you. This is an exciting time for our program and we welcome all efforts from our community. Let’s come together and "Embrace A Cause."
